Carl Crow – The Puzzle of Communism

Paul French har grävt fram en tidigare opublicerad intervju från 1939 av den amerikanska journalisten Carl Crow med Zhou Enlai i Chongqing .
[...] We do not want strife between classes in China, we do not want to accentuate class differences. What we want is a democratic system of government under which all classes can work together harmoniously. I believe that eventually the whole world will be socialized, that is that it will adopt the principles and ideas of communism, but that it will come about gradually and peacefully and not as the result of a revolution.
